To Our Home In Bahrain

This is of Mike at a local restaurant (Upstairs Downstairs)  that he used to go to when we lived here before.  It was a favorite of the Brown & Root guys.  Mike was pleased it is still around.

One Friday (which is like a Sunday here) we went sightseeing

I just can't get over how Bahrain has changed.  There are so many more trees and flowers and grass and tall buildings that I really don't recognize it.
Here are some of the photos as we drove around Bahrain.

This is the tree of life.  It has changed some ~  now it is a popular picnic place on Fridays.  Before it was so far out there was never anyone there.

Then we went to find some camels ~

OK ~  I guess you are tired of looking at camels but they fascinate me.
