To Our Home In Bahrain

This is on the second
floor looking
up the stairs going to 3rd.
This is looking down
the stairs. After
coming upstairs there
is this large room. We were not sure what to do with it ~ so
we made it into a sitting area. This is typical Arab
furniture.
In the back is a game table where I put puzzles together
and have a great view out the window.
All of the bedrooms come off from this area. There are 4
upstairs. We have left one as Mike's exercise room and Berlin (our
housgirl's ironing room) This
is the master
bedroom. At the back of the room (in every bedroom) there is a built
in wardrobe and the center section has drawers. And the master bath
is then to the right. This
is how most of the bathrooms
look. There is a sink, toilet, bidet, and bath with shower.
There are no plugs in any of the bathrooms. That is hard to get used
to. I have more photos of the bathroom I will put up later. From
the main sitting area there is an archway
to the right and thru the archway is a hall. There is a bedroom at
each end of the hall. This
is
one
of the guest bedrooms. The company gave us an allotment to buy
furniture for the house and this is local furniture. Look at that
wardrobe. We did not realize how tall there were in the store.
They are too tall to move without taking apart. When the furniture
was delivered it came in a bunch of boxes and they spent all day putting
it together. Now if it is to be moved, it will have to be disassembled
to move. This is the bathroom for
the guest bedroom. This
is a second guest
room.
 This
is upstairs at
the opposite end of where the game
table is. This door leads to the upstairs patio outside.
I have more photos and will be adding them soon. Now
on to every day life here.
