Sunday 2/27/11 we drove to Galveston

It was soooo windy
It was also Mardi Gras Weekend ~ but luckily it was not crowded on Sunday.

We ran into the nicest man exercising his horses ~ he was getting them ready for a 50 mile ride ~ AND he is no SPRING CHICKEN
The front horse is an Arabian and the second is 1/2 Arabian.

This was a house ~ that obviously has not been repaired since IKE

We then drove to Kemah and had a great time ~ we ate at the Aquarium and walked all over the boardwalk.
